Location New York, New York Shift: Day (United States of America) Description: EEG Neuroscience Technician II – Full-Time – Days – Weill Cornell The EEG Neuroscience Technician II provides high-quality neurodiagnostic testing to support patient care across all age groups. This role performs Evoked Potentials, Routine and Ambulatory EEG studies and Nerve Conduction Velocities (NCV), as well as teaches and assists with cross training of Neurophysiology Technologists Level I, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate data collection. The technician works independently and collaboratively as part of the neurophysiology team in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and interventional neuroradiology. Essential Job Duties: The shift for this role is 9:00am-5:00pm Mondays to Fridays. - Perform EEG test procedures as ordered by physicians and in accordance with established protocols - Conduct long-term EEG monitoring with depth and cortical electrode studies - Perform polysomnographic and ambulatory studies - Prepare patients and equipment prior to procedure/testing, ensuring proper setup and electrode application - Demonstrate advanced skill in collodi...
