Substation Civil/Electrical Engineer (Entry-Level)

Job description

M&S Engineering, LLC seeks a qualified Substation Civil/Electrical Engineer at our Spring Branch, Texas location to perform engineering and design duties which require application of engineering principles and knowledge of substation design. Duties & Responsibilities: - Detail engineering and design of substation projects from conceptual design through construction from 4kV to 345kV - Detail relaying, protection, and controls engineering and design - Detail structural foundation and civil site engineering and design - Create/modify design documents and drawings for a project, including specifications, technical reports to support design as required by permitting agencies, and generating bills of material - Effectively communicate and coordinate project activities with manager, clients, and others as needed - Prepare scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that schedules and budgets are met - Take on a project engineer and/or project manager role as required Requirements: - 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical or Civil Engineering - Master’s degree for this position is HIGHLY UNDESIRED - Current EIT License in the State of Texas or ability to obtai...
