Building Services & Hazardous Materials Technician Labcorp is seeking a Building Services Technician to join our Maintenance team in Madison, WI ! Job Responsibilities: - This hands-on role supports facility operations through a variety of tasks including hazardous waste collection, incinerator operation, event setup, light landscaping, snow removal, and basic building upkeep. - Safely collect and document hazardous lab waste (e.g., solvents, infectious materials). - Operate incinerators and other regulated equipment. - Perform routine maintenance including replacing lights, ceiling tiles, and minor repairs. - Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and event setup. - Support painting, carpentry, and general building upkeep. - Use powered tools and vehicles for various tasks. - Record maintenance actions in facility systems and work orders. - Collaborate with staff to plan and execute repairs. - Procure materials and supplies as needed. - Attend required training and complete other duties as assigned.
