Description Job Description: The Stony Brook University School of Nursing invites applications for a 0.80 – 1.0 FTE academic year faculty appointment within our Graduate Program. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to play a key role in educating the next generation of advanced practice nurses while contributing to the continued development and growth of nurse practitioner education within a nationally recognized academic health center. We seek a dynamic clinician–educator with recent family nurse practitioner clinical experience who demonstrates excellence in advanced practice and a commitment to graduate nursing education. Candidates with experience precepting nurse practitioner students and/or teaching in upper division or graduate nursing programs are strongly encouraged to apply.
