2ND POSTING OPEN FOR ANYONE TO APPLY: POSTING DATE: 4-15-2026: CLOSING DATE: 4-22-2026: FULLTIME POSITION $31.59 PER HOUR: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Under the direction of the Chief of Police. The Tribal Deputy will become a partner with Bowler and Gresham Schools to provide an opportunity for a full-time professional deputy to better understand the actions and problems of the youths in our communities. Assist the Crime Prevention Officer with programs on pro-active approach to community policing. Based on the concept that police officers with private citizens working together in creative ways can help solve community problems as they relate to crime, fear of crime, and neighborhood decay. The Tribal Deputy shall be required to maintain the peace, welfare and safety of all within his or her jurisdiction. The Tribal Deputy shall function under the terms of the current Shawano County Stockbridge-Munsee Law Enforcement Agreement. Tribal supervision will be from the Police Lieutenant and may receive direction from Shawano County Sheriff Department.
