Job Title: Registered Nurse - Inpatient Oncology/Hematology Department: Inpatient Oncology/Hematology (Sands 600): Location: Rochester General Hospital: Hours Per Week: Part-Time (24 hours per week) Schedule: Day/Evening/Night, Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday SUMMARY: As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’re the engine and the heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. The Inpatient Oncology/Hematology Unit at Rochester General Hospital is an acute medical unit specializing in the care of patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions, gynecological cancers, and palliative care needs. We provide comprehensive, compassionate care for individuals undergoing treatment for cancers such as breast, lung, prostate, gynecologic, and blood-related malignancies, while managing complications like infection, pain, neuropathy, anemia, and chemotherapy-related side effects.
