New Grad RN (Adult Acute Care) - ( 260003JJ ) Description Our AMSU is comprised of 20 acute medical-surgical beds with mobile telemetry capabilities. We are soon progressing to incorporate Masimo monitoring devices that offer heart rate and SpO2 monitoring that will add high-quality technology monitoring for each patient. We care for Acute GI, Respiratory, TIA/Mild Stroke, Cardiovascular, Urology, Endocrinology, Wound, Hospice, and post-op patients that include observation, extended recovery and acute level of care. Our patients are managed by our Hospitalist Team, Inpatient Pharmacy, SW/TCC, R/T, PT/OT/SLT, RNs, and PCNA/CAAs that work together and offer an inter-disciplinary approach to patient care. The Medical/Surgical unit at UH Samaritan Medical Center is great place to begin or continue your career! This unit provides supportive learning environments where you can build and enhance your clinical skills while treating a variety of diagnoses.
