Assist the Purchasing Coordinator with all purchasing orders for each department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides administrative and clerical support to the department. Types reports, purchase orders, memoranda, and other documents. Research vendors and collects prices, specifications, and other data related to goods and services. Establishes and maintains recordkeeping system for purchasing department. Performs other duties as assigned. Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
