Description The Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Oklahoma State University ( http://microbiology.okstate.edu ) invites applications for two 9-month tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor. The positions consist of research, teaching, and service. We seek outstanding scientists who employ a wide range of experimental, computational, and systems biology approaches to explore compelling research questions related to microbiome processes and interactions in human, animal, and/or environmental ecosystems. The successful applicant is expected to develop a strong, externally funded research program and establish a wide network of collaboration within the department, university, and the broader scientific community. They also are expected to design and teach undergraduate and graduate courses on topics related to the candidate’s expertise. OSU Microbiology and Molecular Genetics is a dynamic multicultural department of discovery, innovation, and collaboration.
