Director, Supply Chain

Job description

Basic Purpose The Director, Supply Chain is responsible to plan, coordinate, and organize systems, processes, and people that define a scalable distribution network for materials, services or logistics to support the entire regulated utility business objectives for Berkshire Hathaway Energy. The position will oversee the purchasing of materials or services, inventory management, warehousing, system data management, supply chain planning, transportation and related logistics to execute safe, efficient and cost effective storage and distribution of purchases depending on specialty (materials, services or planning and logistics). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for review, approval to publish and approval to award documents by BHE through standard supply proposal documentation including request for proposal, request for quotation and request for information in accordance with BHE procurement policy and regulatory requirements.
