SCOPE OF WORK: The Safety Engineer will develop and implement procedures, guidelines, and best practices to promote and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our jobsites, innovation facilities, and offices. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: - Uses Gaylor Values as tools to carry out all job responsibilities - Maintains confidentiality of all information - Inspects jobsites and communicates with project and safety teams to identify safety risks and concerns - Provides expert guidance on best practices for identifying and reducing exposure to dangerous conditions - Adopts a proactive approach to providing a safe working environment; provides training and guidance to employees via training, toolbox talks, newsletter articles and other forms of written and verbal communication - Develops and implements a system to report, monitor, and correct safety problems - Prepares, composes, and initiates correspondence, memoranda, presentation materials, and reports - Organizes and prioritizes workload to meet deadlines - Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation, etc. - Performs other related duties as assigned - Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment - Good verbal...
