ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: Associates to perform all safety checks at the start of their shift on all cranes and tools and document this as necessary. Continue to perform safety checks throughout the shift. - Follows work instructions to operate equipment and adjusts machines in accordance with all operating procedures and SES’s. - Select specific raw materials for the production of pressure vessels and ensure that materials meet job requirements. - Load and unload materials into machines and adjusts machine for specific jobs including choosing correct jigs, saws, and machines. - Maintain safe working practices for machine operating applications. - Properly complete all paperwork associated with machine operating activities and input data into the computer. - Must have basic computer skills. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job routings. - Be able to follow all material identification practices, as required. - Troubleshoot machine problems by listening for any unfamiliar noise and report this though appropriate channels. - Preforms housekeeping and other related duties as may be assigned. - Material handling – operation of cranes, hoist, and forklifts whe...
