Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: Highland Hills Retirement Village is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. As a PCA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring they maintain dignity, comfort, and a high quality of life in a warm and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. - Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their overall well-being. - Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration. - Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health, behavior, or needs to nursing staff. - Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. - Follow care plans and work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other staff. - Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols. - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and organizing residents' living spaces.
