Job description

Overview The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep, cleanliness, and safety of our building. This position focuses on performing light repairs and routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, replacing knobs, and handling basic handyman duties. The Maintenance Assistant will also be responsible for ensuring that both the interior and exterior of the facility remain in good condition and in compliance with local Health Department codes and safety regulations. This includes seasonal tasks such as snow removal, sidewalk clearing, and occasional support with donation pickups.
