Location: Rochester, NY: Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm: Compensation: $17-$19 per hour based on experience Under the guidance of the Materials Supervisor, the Material Handler I (MH1) performs daily stockroom duties. These duties include safe and proper handling of material and equipment, cycle counting, receipt of incoming material, pick and issue kits to support assembly schedule, or customer requirements as directed by Materials Supervisor or Stock Team Leader. Role and Responsibilities: Specific duties include but are not limited to: · Complete daily cycle counts timely and accurately. · Pick, label, and issue material (via ERP system) for job orders to support manufacturing, global manufacturing requirements, or customer orders. · Transact incoming material into stock. Verifying material counts, put away location, and appropriate packaging are essential steps of the incoming process. · Provide material to customers in a usable form, ensuring it is packaged properly and delivered in a form that supports their operation. · Understand and apply Kanban principles to...
