A Day in the Life: At our Medtronic, plc, R&D (Research & Development) Department in Galway, Ireland, we focus on the development of cutting-edge medical devices in the Coronary, Structural Heart, PVH, Cardiac Rhythm Management and Neuromodulation space. Our R&D Engineers in Galway are directly involved in working on the development of innovative products for use in medical procedures. The CRDN Unit develops a range of transcatheter medical devices and treatment solutions for various disease states such as Drug Coated Balloons, Stents, and Renal Denervation devices. As an R&D Engineer I, you will be tasked with supporting a team in the technical development of new products through early-stage investigation/research and/or translation of that into commercial medical devices.
