At Corbion, we exist to champion preservation in all its forms, preserving food and food production, health, and our planet. The Quality Assurance Technician is based at the Totowa, NJ plant and reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. This position is performing, in an efficient and timely manner, all standard analytical tests on raw materials, intermediate premixes and finished goods samples. The technician also prepares and ships customer samples upon request. This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position. Essential Functions: - Follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), FSMA, Safety, and Environmental regulations as well as company policies. - Maintain a positive attitude. Focus on the customer, teamwork, and quality productivity. - Give recommendations to improve workplace safety, efficiency, and to better serve the customer. - Perform manufacturing facility quality inspections. - Complete/Review deviations as needed. - Send information pertaining to SCARS to the document control specialist. - Verify/perform metal detector audits for all production centers. - Communicate with production and management to ensure proper set-ups for metal detectors. - Communicate all nonconformities...
