Planning Engineer – Space Systems

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. Our Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration & Test (MAIT) team is building the industrial means to manufacture and qualify critical flight hardware. We are looking for a Planning Engineer to strengthen our industrial operations. The role combines production planning, external supply chain follow-up, and support to internal work orders, using Odoo as the main ERP/MRP tool. Main responsibilities: As a Planning Engineer, you will ensure the smooth flow of parts and assemblies from suppliers to internal manufacturing: External supply chain management: follow suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, monitor production progress, perform reminders and escalations when needed. Procurement support: request quotations, contribute to supplier workload evaluation, and work closely with the procurement team for purchase orders.
