Job description

VHIR offers a vacancy for a Research Technician specialised in in Maternal, Foetal and Infant Health to join the Maternal and Foetal Medicine Research Group. The selected candidate will support and coordinate innovative clinical and translational research projects focused on improving maternal and child health outcomes. Main responsibilities and duties: Participate in the design, implementation, and coordination of clinical research studies related to maternal, foetal, and infant health. Provide methodological, scientific, and statistical support for ongoing research projects within the group, including study design, protocol development, database planning, and data interpretation. Collaborate in statistical analysis planning and interpretation of study findings. Coordinate administrative, ethical, and regulatory aspects of clinical trials and observational studies, including submissions to Ethics Committees and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), institutional policies, and study protocols. Coordinate participant follow-up and study logistics when required.
