Overview Helio Health is seeking experienced Licensed Mental Health / SUD Counselors to work Per Diem for our Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center ( ICSC) in Syracuse, NY. The Licensed Counselor/Therapist will provide urgent response and/or treatment services to patients experiencing an acute mental health and/or substance use crisis. The ICSC operates on a 24/7 basis, so we are looking for Per-Diem clinicians with flexible availability to cover a variety of shifts as needed. Pay Rate: $28.00/hr. to $34.00/hr. Responsibilities: - Maintain a case load of individuals seeking treatment with a variety of behavioral healthcare needs. - Perform essential counseling/therapist responsibilities including screening, intake and assessment, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, discharge planning, referrals, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation. - Exhibit exemplary knowledge of the biopsychosocial process of substance use, addiction, behavioral health, self-help group processes, and principles of counseling. - Provide evidenced-based counseling. - Be a change agent for the community by providing person-centered, strengths-based, harm reduction services. - Maintain case records...
