Pathology Coordinator Sarum Road Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) Sarum Road Hospital in Winchester is part of Circle Health Group , Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Pathology Coordinator to join their team of staff in the pathology department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: - Oversee the day-to-day coordination of pathology services, ensuring timely and accurate processing of diagnostic tests. - Liaise with internal departments and external laboratories to manage test requests, collections, and result reporting. - Act as the first point of contact for pathology-related queries from clinical staff, consultants, and laboratory providers. - Ensure results are communicated promptly to the appropriate clinical teams, escalating abnormal or urgent results as necessary. - Ensure adherence to sam...
