Responsibilities: Qualifications: Competencies: - Prepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes including soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items. - Estimate food requirements and procure necessary items from the store room following established procedures. - Adjust temperature controls of cooking equipment as needed. - Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes. - Bake, roast, broil, and steam food items. - Add seasonings during food preparation. - Monitor cooking progress by tasting, smelling, and utilizing other methods. - Carve meats, portion food on plates, add sauces, gravies, and garnishes as per orders. - Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling,...
