What You’ll Do: The Charged-Off Collector is responsible for managing and collecting on charged-off accounts to help recover assets and minimize loss for Westlake Financial. This position requires strong negotiation and listening skills, sound judgment, and the ability to make strategic decisions regarding repossession and settlements. Negotiate payment plans based on customer circumstances while meeting daily and monthly performance goals. Conduct extensive skip tracing to locate customers, vehicles, or potential leads. Maintain accurate records of account activity, updates, and vehicle recovery progress. Collaborate with team members to support department goals and share information on active cases.
