Description SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Relief Valve Service Support Technician plays a critical, hands on role within the valve service team. Working under the direction of the Relief Valve Service Lead Technician, this position supports all phases of inspection, teardown, testing, rebuilding, and documentation of pressure relief valves and associated flow control equipment. This role is ideal for entry level or early career individuals seeking to develop strong mechanical, technical, and troubleshooting skills in a high growth service environment. SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: - Valve Service Support - Assist Lead Technician with incoming inspection, tagging, and documentation of relief valves and associated components. - Support teardown, cleaning, and preparation of valves including PRVs, control valves, ball valves, actuators, thief hatches, and vent valves. - Organize replacement parts, repair kits, springs, gaskets, and hardware needed for rebuild operations. - Clean and prepare valve bodies, internals, and flanges using approved shop practices.
