YOUR ROLE: The Connection Systems North America (CS NA) team has an exciting technical opportunity for a Tool Room Manager . Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will experience a rewarding assignment managing the tool shop in Aptiv Plant 11 supporting North America automotive terminal manufacture. The Toolroom Manager will support daily stamping operations for 100 progressive stamping tools and the tool and die tradesmen that maintain them. In your daily job you will: Schedule and prioritize all shift toolroom activities. Assign and supervise Tool and Diemakers and apprentices assigned to the shift. Promote safe work conditions and practices. Track Tool and Diemaker performance. Eliminate delays and gaps through mentoring, training, and work standardization for all toolroom operations.
