Glenboro Consumers Co-op is hiring a Meat Manager on a permanent basis, onsite out of the Food Store in Glenboro, MB . What you’ll do: The Meat Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of the Meat department operations while maintaining a profitable department, high quality products and outstanding service levels. Key responsibilities include: - Completing meat cutting tasks such as product cutting, pricing, packaging, and providing superb customer service. - Ensuring adherence to the departmental budget. - Overseeing inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stock management. - Ensuring the department is well-merchandised, with accurate promotions and engaging displays. - Participating in the recruitment, training, development, and performance management of team members. - Providing hands-on leadership and daily support to team members by fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Who you’ll work with: The Team: You will work closely with Retail Manager and Grocery Supervisor and the Meat Department Assistant.
