Job Description PURPOSE: To rebuild and repair production equipment, rebuild tooling, to improve their running condition, along with working on molds and dies that are running in machines in the production area. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Repair and rebuild Production machinery including molds and dies. - Make components and changes on existing components in a timely manner and correct to an engineered drawing. - Ability to document machined parts with an inspection sheet. - Assist the Group Leaders and Lead persons in planning work in the shop. - Assist the Group Leaders and Lead persons in sending work to outside vendors. - Keep the Tool Room area in a clean and orderly manner. - Maintain shop bolt bins, pneumatic, and water fitting supplies - Maintain mold cleaning supplies and mold spare parts inventory - Train and assist Mold Techs with small insert changes (Bail Pins and UN Inserts) - Assign, monitor, and document all insert changes on molds to either mold techs or maintenance. - Grade condition of molds - Attend bi-weekly Industrial Mold Rebuild Schedule meetings - Complete monthly mold inventory - Assist with monthly date insert change - Assist other departments where y...
