The Role: Own the end-to-end statutory accounting function under Romanian GAAP, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and internal policies Act as the legally responsible Chief Accountant, including oversight and/or signature of statutory financial statements Lead and control the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all financial records Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting Ensure proper accounting and reporting of VAT, corporate income tax, and other local tax obligations Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities , leading sta...
