Labcorp is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to join our team at our Durham, NC location. Work Schedule: This is a hybrid (minimum 3 days a week), full‑time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Job Responsibilities: The main function of a Software Engineer is to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs including mainframe and client/server applications, and major enhancement of existing systems. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - 10 or more years of experience in working with data structures, algorithms, and software design Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems - 3 or more years of experience in large systems software design and development - 3 or more years of experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems experience in programming - 3 or more years of experience with problem diagnosis and resolution Additional Job Standards: Benefits: Employees regularly s...
