CLASSIFICATION TITLE: Food Service Aide (Part-time) SALARY: $19.93 - $19.93 DEPARTMENT: Office Of Senior Services Opening Date: 05/11/2026 Closing Date: 05/25/2026 12:00 a.m. FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt - overtime pursuant to Collective Bargaining Agreement and/or Human Resources policy EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Just cause subject to probationary period **This position works a shift between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays. GENERAL SUMMARY: Under direction, assists in portioning and packing meals for the Meals on Wheels Program, serving lunch to Dining Senior Style participants, scheduling speakers, planning activities and holiday parties, completing program paperwork and cleaning. Other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Encourages senior participation by creating a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Organizes food service operation as required for Meals on Wheels and Dining Senior Style programs. Portions and package meals for Meals on Wheels Volunteer Driver pick up.
