Overview of the Position: The disassembly technician worker is responsible for the disassembly and cleaning of aircraft actuator assemblies and sub-assemblies. The disassembly technician worker works under the direct supervision of department leads, as well as the department supervisor Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Disassembles to clean parts to prepare them for subsequent inspection. - Ability to read instructions such as work orders/ travelers, maintenance manuals, and drawings. - Responsible for reading and understanding work orders and asking department lead for help when necessary. - Capable of utilizing the computer, reading manuals and understanding maintenance documents . - Capable of using hand assembly and test tools and other precision measuring equipment - Must be able to wear a respirator while performing work. - Strong mechanical aptitude - Ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders - Able to take direction from supervisors regarding the focus of the day. - Report any error in work to department leads. - Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook on safe worksta...
