Trade Compliance Manager (North America/South America region)

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience working in a trade compliance operations role. - Experience working in US customs regulations and export/import controls and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications. - Experience managing regional customs brokers. - Experience with Partner Government Agency (PGA) requirements, such as FDA, EPA, and FCC. Preferred qualifications: - Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified Import Specialist (CIS). - Experience collaborating with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and extended workforce providers, with the ability to provide compliance process training to non-compliance stakeholders. - Experience working in an international, collaborative, and cross-functional environment. - Knowledge of United States (US) export/import control and North America/South America country-specific trade regulations as well as experience in customs broker management. - Ability to use the ACE portal, SAP, GTM (docs, sheets, etc.). - Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently in order to present information to executive level management.
