The Opportunity: Red River Co-op is recruiting for the part-time position of Pharmacy Intern. This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Intern is responsible for assisting the Pharmacy team with the overall operations of the Pharmacy department. Application and Registration: Before employment at Red River Co-op, the pharmacy intern will have already gone through the successful application process via the Registrar of the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba. Once commenced, an internship of 600 hours must be completed in a period of not less than 15 weeks and not greater than 21 weeks. An internship of 360 hours is to be completed in a period of not less than 9 and not greater than 15 weeks. Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Be a liaison and public relations representative for the Co-op within the communities we serve. Fully comply with Federal and Provincial laws pertaining to the Pharmacy, as well as all professional industry pharmacy standards and Red River Co-op standards of business conduct.
