Materials Control Parts Clerk - 18254 Description: The Material Control Park Clerk Lead will perform a variety of administrative and technical assignments related to coordination of the flow of work and materials for the business unit. Works with the Inventory Control Leader to ensure adequate materials are available to meet production, work and shipment schedules. Reviews schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine the progress of work and target completion dates. Compiles reports on the progress of work, inventory levels, costs and production problems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Reviews production schedules and other pertinent reports to ascertain materials, priorities and personnel requirements. · Requisitions and maintains inventory of materials and supplies adequate to meet production demands. · Arranges for delivery and distribution of supplies and parts to expedite the flow of materials to meet production schedules. · Examines documents, materials and products and monitors work processes for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications. · Confers with establishment personnel, vendors, and customers to coordinate pro...
