Job Purpose or Objective(s): Assist victims of crime by providing a full range of services including assistance with compensation claims, court support, case status updates. Perform interactive and assistance tasks directly working with victims of crime. You will report to the Tribal Prosecutor. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm: $23.35/ hour Primary Tasks: 1. Provide notice of criminal proceedings and restitution claims form to all victims. 2. Coordinate meetings with attorneys and witnesses, issue subpoenas, and calendar court dates. 3. Coordinate with witnesses for preliminary hearing and trials and ensure mileage and witness fees are paid. 4. Periodically check on victims and provide information and provide preparation for court environment. 5. Identify victims for referral to Victim Service Coordinate for service needs. 6. Offer assistance to victims in looking for victim protective orders against their perpetrator. 7. Answer and manage incoming telephone calls; assist office visitors; make appointments; schedules meetings and conferences with victims. 8.
