Position Status: Part time Shift: First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America) Hours per week: 30 Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt A Brief Overview: The Nursing Assistant works with EP Device Clinic staff and physician office staff to assist in the care of patients and provision of support services. Primary duties involve performing performance checks on implanted pacemakers and defibrillators using trans-telephonic and internet-based technologies. The incumbent has contact with patients on a regular basis in an outpatient office setting. The delivery of professional nursing care at Stormont Vail Health is guided by Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring and the theory of Shared governance, both of which are congruent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Education Qualifications: Successfully completed first semester in an accredited nursing program. Required or Successfully completed a medical assistant or patient care technician program.
