GL /AR Accountant in Retail Department

Job description

Job Purpose We are looking for a GL / AR Retail Accountant reporting directly to the Retail Team Leader. This is a local role based in Poznań. The position focuses on supporting AR process for French entity with elements of GL processes. Responsibilities: - General Ledger operations: journal entries, accrual calculation, balance sheet reconciliations, intracompany reconciliations - Carrying out month-end, year-end closing tasks - Identify and implement potential process improvements - KPI analysis, root cause identification and improvement suggestions - Ensures daily operations are carried out according to Group finance policies and internal control requirements - Daily bank statements posting and reconciliation - AR tasks such as customer invoicing, posting standard accounting transactions, GL transitory account reconciliation, regular communication with point of sales across France and local team in France - Maintenance and clarification of customer accounts and outstanding items - Possible Record to Report (RTR) daily and month end tasks - Support to any local related queries within responsibility area - Assisting with team/departmental projects (may include limited travel) - Ot...
