The Building Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for completing plant and office facilities maintenance assignments as scheduled. Must have the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical, make building repairs and assist maintenance personnel when and where needed. Job requires plant and office preventive maintenance (PM) to be performed as scheduled. Job Summary: Performs repair and preventive maintenance on facilities including but not limited to: carpentry, electrical, painting, dry walling, plumbing, HVAC, door hardware, etc. Repairs electrical switches, outlets, lighting systems and fixtures Performs advanced level plumbing work including the installation, repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters and pipes; clears obstructions from drains, water and sewer lines Performs basic carpentry work: Inspects building fac...
