Clinical Nurse RN (GI Lab) 101 Truman Medical Center Job Location: UH Lakewood Medical Center Kansas City, Missouri: Department: GI Lab UHLMC Position Type: Full time Work Schedule: 7:30AM - 4:00PM: Hours Per Week: 40 Job Description: A Registered Nurse who assists in the assessment and care of patients undergoing gastroenterology procedures, including pre-procedure, intra-procedure and post procedural care. Assists in endoscopic procedures as well as other GI procedures to include liver biopsies, anorectal and esophageal manometry, 24 hour ph, pill cam and paracentesis. Provides moderate sedation if needed. Follow established standards and practices under the direction of a gastroenterologist. Sets up equipment for procedural being performed, obtains and records patient data, and assesses patient during these procedures and delivers therapy.
