Position Title: Career Services Specialist Department: Career Services: Term of Assignment: Continuing: Term End Date, If Applicable: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt = overtime eligible Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend work required. Salary: Targeted Salary Range: $39,000-$41,880: Travel: Less than 10%: Brief Statement of Duties: Brief Statement of Duties: Facilitate student employment program supports (i.e. guidance in addressing student employment issues, job description development) and expansion of Career Services’ reach with stakeholders through use of social media. Coordinate mid-sized and large events, with a special emphasis on employer recruitment, and implementation of strategic career and professional opportunities for students. Serve as the primary contact for Handshake to include marketing, training, resolving technical issues for system users, and working with external vendors on troubleshooting and upgrades.
