As a Statistician you will support one of the departments within NSWC Corona and provide expertise in support of multiple technical projects with a variety of stakeholders/sponsors. Responsibilities: Qualifications: Required: Desired: - Develop regression and Bayesian reliability models - To support the Weapons Assessment Division in developing statistical models in R, SAS, Python, or other statistical tools to assess these weapons throughout their lifecycle in order to identify reliability, availability, and maintainability trends, quantify reliability factors, and determine program(s) risks that enable decision makers to manage such assets with severe impact to readiness assessment mission for ordnance if not performed.
