Job Description: Medical Access Pharmacy Technician | Per Diem coverage as needed | Location hours are Mon-Fri 8am-430PM no nights/weekends/holidays. About Elliot Pharmacy: Elliot Pharmacy provides high-quality and personal prescription services to patients in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, including those whose providers are outside the Elliot network. We offer a variety of value-added services, including vaccinations, adherence packaging, meds-to-beds, shipping, and non-hazardous compounding. In addition, we are a designated specialty pharmacy with access to many hard-to-find medications. Our pharmacists, technicians and front-store team are committed to building long-term collaborative relationships with our patients and helping them become and stay well. What You’ll Do: - Provides centralized medication access support for Elliot Health System patients. - Reviews and submits requests for prescription prior authorization. - Retrieves prescription information from the electronic medical record and provide next steps for patient access. - Communicates with patients, physicians and clinic office staff regarding access to and u...
