This role is grounded in the belief that students must feel safe, connected, and regulated before they are ready to learn. The teacher provides highly intensive individualized instruction and relationship-centered practices that help students build the skills needed for long-term success in school and life. The LAUNCH Special Education teacher reports directly to the Director of Alternative Placement. Students in the LAUNCH Program present with significant social-emotional, behavioral, mental health, and academic needs that require intensive, individualized intervention and a highly individualized environment.
