MAJOR FUNCTION: To produce computed tomographic images of designated anatomical regions as ordered by a licensed physician or provider, following established protocols and procedures. This role is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging using advanced diagnostic equipment, ensuring accurate cross-sectional images for interpretation while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and adherence to radiation protection standards, including ALARA principles. QUALIFICATIONS: Certification/Licensure: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. - 1 year experience, preferred - New Jersey DEP license required. - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT required. - CT certification required or attained within 6 months of hire. - AHA BLS required. - IV certification required within 90 days of hire.
