SUMMARY: Work as part of the clinical team to provide outpatient individual and group therapy both in general outpatient and intensive outpatient programs. Provide clinical assessment including behavioral health diagnosis and referral for medication management when needed. Perform initial screening, intake and assessment, crisis intervention, provide individual, group, mental health and/or substance abuse therapy, referral for treatment not provided by the program, client education, and treatment planning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Attend mandatory in-service trainings and other trainings required for renewal of licensure. - Perform biopsychosocial evaluations/treatments for a panel of clients with mental health and substance use disorders. - Assist the clinical team by providing strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed assessments and treatment to clients with mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. - Provide crisis intervention as needed. - Assist with monitoring substance use toxicology screens as needed. - Collaborate with other members of the client’s clinical team.
