Description The Department of Radiology, at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas, Texas), is seeking a full-time imaging scientist with expertise in computed tomography to expand new and ongoing technical and contrast media development, translational research, and clinical trials. The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and passionate about solving real-world problems, and has a strong theoretical background in computed tomography, especially in its use in medical applications. The position will focus on simulation, validation and experimentation of different computed tomography methodologies for acquisition and image reconstruction in both basic research and clinical settings. This faculty position will be within the Research section within the Department of Radiology and will maintain close interactions with physicians and other researchers in the Department of Radiology and elsewhere in the medical center.
