Field Technician Level 1 Department: Operations: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Winter Haven, Florida: Reporting To: Operations Manager: Compensation: $18.00 - $26.00 / hour Description: The Field Technician Level 1 supports experienced field crews in the safe setup, maintenance, and operation of tapping and line-stopping equipment while learning Rangeline’s systems and standards. This role is ideal for individuals who bring a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn in a physically demanding environment. Experience in underground utilities or construction is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water main systems - Support setup and teardown of tapping, line-stop, and valve insertion equipment - Clean and maintain tools, trucks, and work areas - Load and unload materials and equipment - Follow instructions from senior technicians and job leads on site - Participate in pre-job safety meetings and follow safety protocols - Complete basic documentation such as safety checklists or field reports as directed - Observe and learn proper procedures for tapping, stopping, and field repairs Skil...
