POSITION SUMMARY: - The Associate Application Engineer – Field Sales assists sales representatives and customers by providing technical support to help Vertiv thermal management products and services. This role serves as a conduit between the field and the other applicable internal departments such as offering management, engineering, and order management. This support includes providing technical information on company products and the application of these products, assistance with custom product features and pricing, and ancillary product selection and pricing. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provides applications sales support. - Applies Quote Configurator tool to provide comprehensive quote support. - Performs equipment performance runs on Vertiv thermal management equipment. - Assists in developing clear, concise, and technically sound tailored solutions for customer review and acceptance based on customer requirements and/or Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring proper scope and required technical specifications are met. - Assists in the review of custom equipment orders and provides technical instruction throughout the order workflow. - Executes technical sales operations tasks such as...
