Overview Kimley-Horn's Broomfield, Colorado (CO) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Bridge Structures team! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities: - Serve in a technical role on bridge design projects - Perform structural analysis, design, and planning on bridges and other transportation structures - Develop full sets of structural drawings and technical specifications without guidance - Projects could include bridge design, box culvert, and retaining wall design - Train and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) in structural engineering - Perform structural design calculations, plan production activities, and prepare project document submittal packages, while maintaining a Quality Control program for the entire project - Lead and provide support for construction phase efforts on building projects in structural engineering - Support and participate in meetings and presentations with clients, contractors, and design team members - Contribute to identifying project opportunities through networking with new and existing clients Qualifications: - 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience - Professional Engineering (P.E.)
