Job title: Quality Analyst - Classical (12 month Fixed Term Contract) Reporting to: GC Lead: Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk: Hours: 40 hours per week: The Opportunity: The objective of this role is to perform compositional analysis of flavour and fragrance raw materials that pass through the Quality Control laboratory. This encompasses the GC-FID analysis to assess acceptability of the profile and GC-MS analysis for the identification of unknowns, to ensure that any material that enters or leaves the site is fit for purpose. The role also involves instrumental performance checks and maintenance as well as supporting the sensory evaluation of products and general laboratory maintenance.
